Cosmetic Surgery in the Intimate Area for Women – Professional and Discreet

Intimate surgery is often still considered a taboo subject. It’s a shame, really, because the emotional distress many women experience is entirely avoidable. When people talk openly about the options that aesthetic and plastic surgery offers today, it’s a huge relief for many women. We’ll provide a brief overview of our practice and the topic of „intimate surgery for women.“.

Genital Surgery: For or Against?

The decision to undergo cosmetic surgery in the genital area can be based on several factors: medical, aesthetic, and ethical reasons. It is not within our purview to judge your decision. Whatever you decide—we will support you, provide you with detailed advice, and handle the matter with the utmost sensitivity.

What types of genital surgery are there?

We perform procedures on the labia, vagina, and mons pubis. These include, for example, reduction of the inner (minor) labia, tightening of the outer (major) labia, or correction of asymmetrical labia. For some patients, restoration of the hymen is important, while for others, reduction of the mons pubis is a priority.

Postpartum Genital Surgery

After pregnancy and childbirth, a woman’s body and sexuality can undergo significant changes. If the baby was particularly large or the delivery was especially difficult, even the best pelvic floor exercises won’t help. If, after about a year of recovery, you’re still struggling with changes in your intimate area, we can help you. We perform what is known as „vaginal rejuvenation“ (vaginal tightening) and correct scarring in the genital area resulting from an episiotomy or a perineal tear.

When else might genital surgery be recommended?

Surgery in the genital area may be performed for medical reasons if you experience pain in that area—whether while walking or riding a bike due to particularly large inner labia, or pain during sexual intercourse. Significant weight loss can lead to sagging skin folds in the genital area, which can also cause discomfort.
