Breast augmentation is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic surgeries at our practice. Nearly all of our patients are self-pay, as health insurance rarely covers the costs. Prices for breast augmentation with implants vary from patient to patient, as they depend on several factors (e.g., surgical technique, type of implant, etc.). However, the costs are always in the four-digit range. It’s therefore a good idea to carefully consider how you will finance your breast surgery.

How can I pay for breast surgery?

Since health insurance companies only cover the costs of breast augmentation if there is a medical necessity, it’s best not to count on them. Many of our patients have deliberately saved up for their dream bust size. While this takes time, it has a positive side effect: Time will show whether you’re truly serious about your goal and that it wasn’t a rash decision.

If you don't want to put up with the long wait, you have the option of taking out a loan for breast augmentation. Many lenders now offer special „cosmetic loans“ that can be used to finance breast augmentation.

If you can’t pay for your future breast augmentation out of pocket, there’s no shame in that. Compare different loan offers, look for fair terms, and use online loan calculators. With a cosmetic surgery loan, you won’t have to put up with a long wait, and the procedure can take place soon.
