What are fillers, and how can they help?

Fillers are special substances that we use for injections. The goal is to literally fill in wrinkles, stimulate collagen production, or add a bit more volume. Ultimately, the goal is to restore a fresh and youthful appearance to your face. Fine lines are smoothed out, and your face looks naturally well-cared-for. The following skin concerns can be treated with fillers:

Most of the fillers we use are hyaluronic acid-based. Hyaluronic acid is similar to the body’s own hyaluron, which is responsible for the skin’s elasticity and whose concentration in the body decreases over the years. We use various well-tolerated hyaluronic acid fillers, which differ depending on the treatment. For example, one product is used for facial contouring, and for the Biorevitalization another one.

Facial Fillers: How Does the Treatment Work?

We administer the filler injections in various areas of the face (forehead, cheeks, lips, and jawline) depending on the desired result. We use a thin needle, and the treatment area is lightly numbed beforehand with a special cream.

How long do fillers last?

The results of an anti-aging treatment with fillers last 4–6 months. The duration depends partly on the filler itself and partly on how quickly your body breaks down the substance.
