My name is Karen Towmasjan. I had the privilege of completing my training in Saint Petersburg. Today, I am not just a „cosmetic surgeon“—I see myself more as a doctor of aesthetic medicine. Every day, I treat people for whom it is often about more than just beauty.

Many of my patients have endured a long and difficult journey and face significant limitations in their daily lives. I see my role as helping people achieve a better quality of life through aesthetic and plastic surgery.

I love my job and take it very seriously. That sometimes means I have to be critical. I don't perform every procedure and I uphold aesthetic standards.

So I leave nose jobs to my colleagues who specialize in rhinoplasty, and I refrain from performing certain procedures that I consider dangerous. Transparency and honesty are important to me.

I take a holistic approach to treating my patients: I aim to preserve natural proportions and take ethnic characteristics into account. You can speak with me openly about your specific needs—in a confidential setting at our aesthetic medicine practice in Zurich. I conduct consultations in German or Russian.
